The Old Havana
The Old Havana's historical center and its colonial fortification system where included by UNESCO in its list of World Heritage Sites on December, 1982. From that moment on restoring efforts on the old part by several institutions were intensified.
Sites of interest:
Floridita-Bar restaurant: Known as the cradle of the Daiquiri, place where you will motivated to taste one of the most famous cocktail in the world.
La Bodeguita del medio: The place was very often visited by the Nobel Prize Ernest Hemingway, who spent hours drinking his favorite drink, mojito.
Castillo de La Real Fuerza: Inaugurated in XVI is the oldest military built in Havana.
Hotel Ambos Mundos: The hotel where the US Nobel prize Ernest Hemingway stayed and wrote part of his novel “For whom the bells toll.”
Obispo Street: The main and most typical street in the historical center.
National Capitol: Inaugurated in 1929 is a replica from the original, which is 6 meter higher.
Square San Francis of Assisi: Considered the second oldest built in XVI century.
Arms square: First Square inaugurated during colonial period.
Cathedral square: Considered for many the most attractive square in the country. The place has been visited by illustrious personalities such as the pope Francis 2016.
Old Square: It became one of the most important squares in the village. It is surrounding by beautiful ancient mansions.

Bonjour, Nous avons retenu les services de Havanamecuba pour profiter au mieux de notre trop court séjour. Merci à Dayan, notre fantastique chauffeur qui, aidé de sa belle Chevrolet, nous a trimballé de l'aéroport à la Havane pour rejoindre ensuite Vinales. Merci à Alyanis pour la présentation qu'elle nous a faite de cette belle région agricole du pays. Liliane de France
