The Old Havana's historical center and its colonial fortification system where included by UNESCO in its list of World Heritage Sites on December, 1982. From that moment on restoring efforts on the old part by several institutions were intensified.

Arms square: First Square inaugurated during colonial period.
Cathedral square: Considered for many the most attractive square in the country. The place has been visited by illustrious personalities such as the pope Francis 2016.
Old Square: It became one of the most important squares in the village. It is surrounding by beautiful ancient mansions.
